Polypropylene is a fibrous material which can withhold great tensions - stress, heat and is water resistant.
Polyester is a strong fabric with a high breaking strength. It is stretch resistant and is an anti wrinkling fabric. It has low water absorption. rot & mildew resistant and, strain resistant Polyester may be used in travel bags, equipment bags, travel cases and other similar products.
Kevlar is a specialized material with a high tensile strength. It has a low thermal shrinkage. It is flame resistant and self extinguishing. I may be used in ballistic armor, other protective apparel and protection vests
Nomex is similar to Nylon and is designed for high temperature applications. It has good textile properties and good dimensional stability. It is used in firefighting protective clothing, aerospace applications, and other heat resistant products. |
